Standard Cancellation Policy
The following policy applies unless an activity provider has a different policy shown at checkout:

Weather & Provider Cancellations
If an activity provider cancels due to weather or other circumstances beyond your control:
- ✓100% refund to original payment method, OR
- ✓Free rebooking to another date (subject to availability)
Cryptocurrency Payment Refunds
Cryptocurrency refunds work differently from card refunds. You will NOT receive cryptocurrency back. Please review carefully.
Key differences for cryptocurrency payments:
- 1.Refunds = Platform Credit Only
Refunds are issued as platform credit, NOT back to your crypto wallet. Platform credit can be used for any future booking on OutdoorBoost. - 2.Price Volatility Risk
Refund value is locked at the USD amount at time of payment. If you paid $100 of BTC and BTC prices rise 50%, your refund is still $100 credit (not $150). Conversely, if prices drop, you still receive the original $100 credit. - 3.Non-Reversible Transactions
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed. Unlike credit cards, there is no chargeback protection. - 4.Processing Time
Platform credits are issued within 1-3 business days after refund approval. No additional blockchain confirmation time needed. - 5.Credit Never Expires
Per California Civil Code § 1749.5, your platform credit never expires and can be used for any future booking.
Example Scenario:
You book a $500 rafting trip paying with Bitcoin when BTC = $50,000 (0.01 BTC).
One week later you cancel. BTC is now $55,000 (your 0.01 BTC would be worth $550).
Your refund: $500 platform credit (NOT 0.01 BTC or $550).
Recommendation: If refund protection and price stability are important to you, we recommend paying with a credit/debit card instead of cryptocurrency. Card payments receive refunds directly to your original payment method.
Flexible Cancellation Protection

For an additional fee, you can purchase Flexible Cancellation Protection which allows you to cancel for any reason up to 2 hours before your activity.
What's Covered:
- ✓ Cancel for any reason up to 2 hours before
- ✓ 100% refund as platform credit or 80% to original payment
- ✓ Free rebooking to another date
What's NOT Covered:
- ✗ Medical expenses or injuries during activity
- ✗ Trip interruption or delays
- ✗ Lost or damaged personal belongings
- ✗ Emergency evacuation
- ✗ Any travel insurance benefits

Log in to your account, go to "My Bookings", select the booking, and click "Cancel Booking".
Email support@outdoorboost.ai with your booking confirmation number.
